Teams of Ph.D., M.D., and MBA students from the best schools in Houston, San Antonio, across Texas, and beyond conduct due diligence on startups. We provide executive summaries that include an investment recommendation and a numeric score based on technology, market potential, competition, and more.

Our strengths:

1. All members are experienced in analytics and can provide a thorough and unbiased assessment of startup companies.
2. Our Ph.D. students conduct cutting edge research in fields such as tissue engineering, microbiology, genetics, and computational biology.
3. Our M.D. students are immersed in clinical environments across public/private and inpatient/out-patient settings across TMC and Texas.
4. Our MBA students have experience in investments and entrepreneurship.

Example partnerships with investors:

1. Comprehensive Due Diligence for healthcare and life science deals

2. Lead generation

3. Market/Disease Landscape Reports

4. Curated Deal Memos

Hear from our partners:

"Our team was very impressed, and the insight and quality were more than what we expected with such a quick turnaround. The [investability report] was exceedingly valuable to our screening process for TMCx and is something we will keep referring to during the teams' residency."
- David Kolacny, Innovation Analyst, TMC Innovation Institute

"[The due diligence report] is hugely helpful and well done. You have exceeded my expectations!"
- Bryan Chambers, VP of Accelerator and Investment Fund,

The Team. ENRICH teams consist of a combination of experienced med-tech consultants and advisors as well as 2-4 top-tier advanced-degree candidates that have experience and skills pertinent to the completion of the project. The team contributes up to 240 person-hours for a single project.

The Project. Projects last 4-6 weeks from kickoff to final presentation. We meet with you weekly to present updates and discuss strategy.

Diversity of Thought. Our teams bring together expertise from various fields and multiple TMC institutions. This diversity of thought promotes creative problem-solving and innovative business solutions.

Unbeatable Value. We match you with and oversee a consulting team of primarily Advanced Degree candidates (PhD, MD, MBA, JD).

Early Recruitment. Working with an ENRICH team is a great opportunity to connect with top, local talent.

“Enrich your transferable skills and knowledge through hands-on education in the business of science.”

As a fellow you'll be learning about the business of science by working on real-world projects for local life science and healthcare companies. ENRICH gives you the chance to learn business skills that complement your science and engineering curriculum, making you more competitive for jobs when you graduate.

Diverse Learning. We believe that diversity of learning is important for students. During your time as a fellow you'll learn through the vehicle of 2-3 different projects that will broaden your scientific industry-related business knowledge.

Professional Network. As an ENRICH fellow you are directly connected to ENRICH alumni, experienced advisors, and the Enventure leadership team.

Side Hustle. As a paid fellowship, we are open to graduate and undergraduate students who are authorized to work in the US.

Growth Opportunity. Our top fellows have the opportunity to learn management principles as project managers.

Relevant Experiences. ENRICH alumni join top consulting firms (BCG, McKinsey, Clearview, Putnam), startups, industry, or prominent academic institutions.

You should apply if you are a student/trainee interested in a future career at the intersection of business and science. The most competitive applicants are those with previous entrepreneurial or business education. The best way to learn about entrepreneurship and the business of science is to attend Enventure's other programming!
