Joanna earned her Master's of Bioengineering from Rice and turned a senior design project into a medical startup. The Saranas 'Smart Sheath' detects internal bleeding without changing the cardiologist’s workflow. Not satisfied with the opportunities for young entrepreneurs in Houston, Joanna co-founded Enventure, where she has led many new programs and fundraising initiatives. Joanna loves to help others solve important medical problems one startup at a time. Joanna is currently pursuing her MBA at Jones School of Business, Rice University.
