Amy Hurwitz is a Ph.D. candidate at Baylor College of Medicine in the Interdepartmental Program for Translational Biology and Molecular Medicine (TBMM). Prior to graduate school, Amy received a B.S. in biochemistry with a minor in business law from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and also spent time doing research at UCLA and Caltech. Outside of her career interests in translating exciting technologies into marketable products, co-founding enventure in 2012, she has enjoyed Scottish Highland dancing since the age of 5 and mid-distance running.
