Norah received her PhD from UT Health. She used yeast as a model system to understand the mechanisms of DNA damage and repair. Prior to arriving at UT Health, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Simpson College in Iowa. She TA'd Jack Gill's Life Science Entrepreneurship Class (MGMT633) in 2018, was an Enventure ENRICH fellow, and contributed to the launch of Workshops in 2018. In addition to her passion for life science and business, Norah enjoys listening and dancing to Latin music and is a voracious reader of books on personal development, leadership and African literature.
