This April, BaseCamp is hosting rBio. rBio is a biotech startup that aims to develop an innovative solution for highly scalable pharmaceutical manufacturing processes through synthetic biology.
Join us for a morning of innovation, troubleshooting, and research. All experience levels are welcome. This is an excellent learning and networking opportunity for both the life science innovators and attendees.
What is BaseCamp?
BaseCamp is an Enventure education and experience hackathon designed to help local innovators construct life science ventures while enabling attendants to learn and apply their experiences towards real business applications. Our Enventure team is actively looking for and collaborating with life science innovators, who bring in concepts ranging from “idea on a napkin” to early-stage product development. In parallel, we are opening this event to young professionals and trainees of the community for participation in solving the presented problems and goals pitched by our partnered innovators.
What happens during our 3-hr Basecamp hackathon?
One innovator pitches their preliminary business idea to the attendants, who then break into small groups to help the innovator determine the viability of their idea. By the end of the morning, the innovator will be able to leave with the workings of a refined pitch and a business strategy, while attendees will have expanded their network and refined their problem-solving methods.
