Course attendance is critical to course performance.We will be hosting an info session (11/30) and a pitch session (12/7). These sessions will provide information about what to expect from bioventures and will include team formation.All students wishing to participate in Bioventures must belong to a team that is formed on 12/7/17. Individuals who have not attended the sessions on 11/30 and 12/7 will only be eligible to join a team if an existing team allows them. Therefore, all interested individuals must attend both sessions to ensure their spot in the course. If you have a conflict, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a follow up meeting in January.For those interested in taking the course for credit will find it listed at Rice, BIOE 621. Students are not required to take the course for credit; a certificate option is available.FAQ:Do I need to have my own idea to participate in Bioventures?- No, you may pitch an available IP (we will provide info on 11/30), or you can pitch your value as a teammate.I have an idea but not a team- is this a good fit?- Yes! This is a great place to find a team.I'm a very early stage company and don't have much business development done. Should I still pitch?- Yes!
